It is not customary for the approval of an H1b visa to be impacted by Day 1 CPT. However, the USCIS may ask for additional documentation (RFE) to demonstrate that the overseas student has been preserving legal status after they are awarded an H1b visa after working through Day 1 CPT. H1B work visa for a full-time job. But you cannot continue to use the CPT and OPT in order to work for a longer period of time. You must obtain the much sought-after H1B work visa.
